Hi, nice game. I kept really wanting right mouse to be an alternative way to move as my reactions were a little slow using WASD when I wanted to escape diagonally but maybe that's just me.
Hey! Is there any plan to make this browser playable? Would love to play it, but I own a chomebook.
Hi, I hadn't planned to as unity webgl builds has some problems but I will look into it of you wanna play the game! I'll probably have to rebuild the whole game so it wont be quick :/
When its done I'll ping this thread again.
Thanks! Also incredible concept.
help pls
exept that is the best game i played here :)
Man, I struggled hard to think of an idea for the theme and I am involved in research through CERN. How did I not think of this idea? Amazing concept!
Aha thats amazing! Im in my final semester of an Mphys right now which is in part where the idea came from. Please dont be too harsh on the inaccuracy of my quark mode you probably know a lot more than me! :D
I'm still just a PhD student, so I'm not that high up there. I haven't looked at the accuracy of it yet, but I may have to. In my game (which sucked because it was rushed), I did try to base the enemy colors on the fundamental color charges of quarks in QCD. Warning - only take Quantum Field Theory courses if you're REALLY into the topic. It was a nightmare for me as an experimentalist. haha.
And best of luck on your studies!
Thats cool, I will check yours it that sounds like an interesting concept. Aha thank you for the advice!
Also have you considered a web version? I have a Linux machine for grad school and wouldn't be able to run your game without flipping back to my Windows machine otherwise
I will try and make a web version, unity webgl build gave me lots of errors I couldnt debug but I will have another look into it
Great game, congratulations on the 2nd place! But I can't go very far in it because of a bug with spawning enemies. I tried restarting the game, but it doesn't work, and it happens every time at a different moment. [Screenshot]
Thanks! That's odd that you're having it that much, I'm pushing out a patch to fix that later today so should be fixed asap
Newest build which is uploaded shouldnt have that problem but let me know if you find anything else!
If you're talking about the postjamfix there's still an issue with enemy spawning. One time it seemed an enemy was stuck at the top of the screen for me? Not sure.
Interesting I havent been able to reproduce the bug with the new fix. Did you take a screenshot? and where you doing anything in particular when it got stuck?
I really enjoyed the premise of this game, who needs to study physics when i can learn it all through this xD. But you have improved a lot since the last time i played one of your games. Well done!
Aha yea i didn't think I would end up making an educational game yikes! Thanks so much :)
I really like this!!! I absolutely love the graphics and you done an amazing job at coming up with a good concept, welldone! I can only suggest to implement a custom cursor and a quit button in the main menu but that is all, keep up the good work, youre killing it! :))
Thank you so much! Yeah those are fair suggestions. Thanks again :)
Also dont forget to drop the game a rating for the jam if you have time!
